Submarine Sandwich Tailgate: Carolina RailHawks v. New York Cosmos

  • WakeMed Soccer Park 201 Soccer Park Dr Cary, NC, 27511 United States (map)

One theory says the submarine sandwich was brought to the U.S. by Dominic Conti (1874–1954), an Italian immigrant who came to New York in the early 1900s. He is said to have named it after seeing the recovered 1901 submarine called Fenian Ram in the Paterson Museum of New Jersey in 1928.

To celebrate one of America's favorite sandwiches, TSF will be partnering with Jimmy Johns to provide a submarine sandwich tailgate ahead of our match with the Cosmos.

For the Cosmos match this Saturday, Jimmy John's has volunteered to provide TSF with a sampler platter of their ham, turkey, and veggie subs. We encourage you to bring additional mains, sides, desserts, and drinks to complement the sub sandwiches provided by one of the official partners of the Carolina RailHawks.

Please note: The grill will not be available at Saturday's tailgate
